An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced **Import Sea & Airfreight Clearing & Forwarding Controller** to join a well-established freight forwarding company based in Cape Town.
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused professional with solid experience managing import shipments across both sea and airfreight. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end import process, ensuring efficient cargo movement, maintaining excellent client service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations.

Requirements
## ✅ Minimum Requirements
🎓 Grade 12 (Matric)
📦 Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Clearing & Forwarding role
💻 ShipShape or similar freight forwarding software experience
🚢 Experience handling import shipments, groupage, estimates, and forwarding documentation
🌡️ Experience working with general cargo, hazardous cargo, and temperature-controlled cargo
🤝 Strong negotiation and communication skills
⭐ Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
⏱️ Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
📖 RCG knowledge is essential
